5 Days Mount Kenya Safari (Mount Kenya Hiking & wildlife Tour)
This 5 Days Mount Kenya Safari is a short trip to Mountain Kenya National Park for a hike and Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy to experience the Big 5 African bush animals. The big 5 animals are; African Elephants, Hippos, Buffaloes, Rhinos, and Lions. In the 5 days of Mount Kenya Safari, a whole day will be spent in the Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy to search for the Big Five and then a hike to Mount Kenya.
On the drive to the Mount Kenya National Park is Nanyuki, the Market town of Laikipia county of Kenya, which lies in the Northwest of Mount Kenya. The town is also known as the gateway to Mount Kenya and the wilderness of Mount Kenya National Park.
The equator passes through the southern part of Nanyuki. One crosses it when approaching Nanyuki. You will meet some people who are usually at hand to show the supposed effect of the Coriolis force, which makes draining water swirl clockwise or anticlockwise depending on whether one is in the Northern or southern hemisphere.
These are several trails ascending the mountain, including the well, known Naro Moru and Sirimon routes. The park’s wildlife includes leopards, giant forest hogs, and more. In the northwest of Nanyuki, the plains hills of the vast Laikipia Plateau are home to Lions, elephants, and the rare gravy’s zebras
