First day of your 10 days best of Uganda safari tour, transfer to Murchison Falls. On your journey of 5-6 hours which takes you from Kampala along Gulu highway, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
Get to a hotel in Masindi for lunch then drive 85kms to Murchison Falls via Kichumbanyobo gate. Go visit the top of the falls then continue to your booked lodge.

After breakfast, you will engage in a game drive in your main Destination-Murchison Falls National Park. This activity involves you spotting numerous wildlife such as lions, Rothschild giraffes, antelopes, warthogs, elephants, leopards, birds.
Return after 3-4 hours’ game drive in a full-size 4×4 Land Cruiser or 4×4 Safari Van with pop-up. You will undertake 2-3 hours’ launch cruise towards the falls with opportunity to spot crocodile as they bask on river banks, hippos, birds and other species.

Day 3 of the 10 days best of Uganda safari involves driving from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale after breakfast. Pay a visit to Amabere Caves en-route and later, enjoy lunch at a hotel in Fort Portal Tourism City. Continue to check into your accommodation in Kibale National Park.

Have an early morning breakfast and later, report to Kanyanchu Tourist Centre for briefing on chimp trekking which is part of your 10 days best of Uganda safari. Kibale sits on 795sq.kms and protects 13 primate species.
Today, you will explore one of the habituated chimpanzee communities. After chimp trek, go enjoy a guided nature walk at Bigodi wetland then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, 3 hours’ drive.

On day 6 of the 10 days best of Uganda safari, enjoy your breakfast and later embark on 3 hours’ drive to Bwindi National Park. Briefing about gorilla trekking rules early in the morning after breakfast. Depending on the region (Bwindi has 4 gorilla sectors; Buhoma, Rushaga, Ruhija and Nkuringo), you will be assigned to a habituated gorilla family to track starting at 8:00am. Trekking gorillas takes about 2-6 hours and it covers a maximum of 1 hour of face to face encounter. You also have opportunity to enjoy a Batwa cultural experience.
